Holidays of your Dreams in Rhodes........

Holidays of your Dreams in Rhodes.A reality that makes you come back again……
First of all I would like to congratulate holiday makers who have made the decision to visit Rhodes island for their vacations and most of all those tourists who finally choose Rhodes island for 14 nights at least.Whatever the option, one week or two and more, what is left on tourists mind is the experiences and the emotions about Rhodes when coming back to their own reality at homes where they have to follow a routine, which is not easy or a nice feeling to come in touch with, but this is LIFE.We follow a system and based on that we need to prioritize our habits and set plans. It is vital then to plan holidays somewhere when the situations and circumstances allow us to act on that way,so we can charge our batteries.
By being in Rhodes for holidays you need to be generous about your self and estimate that money spent for holiday pleasure is priceless. To come on that point, money enough on your wallet is important to enjoy your holidays in the island and Rhodes gives  many choices about how much you should spend approximately. So have more money for your safety is important despite of the budget that each holiday maker has made for travel expenses.Whatever the budget that is low or high, and it depends from the Hotel facilities, flights rental cars and so on,all the other expenses is a personal choice and a combination of what is offered in Rhodes. They can choose expensive offers or low  and great value for their money offers. That doesn’t mean that a low offer choice gives them bad quality service but sometimes these offers are better than the expensive ones.Have a look at the market and choose carefully a tour guide in Rhodes through local travel agents and compare the prices, if you care about the money spent every time you plan to make visits in Rhodes on different places around.
So have this on mind and after you prioritize Holiday plan, tourists should of course get the full advantages of the comforts wherever they stay and they deserve to act like that, cause is something they want before coming here and have paid for this.So what about places to visit in Rhodes and with what kind of actions you should take and become a part of these as long you are in Rhodes?
Well take it easy, enjoy the pristine beaches, the blue ocean, the comforts of the hotel and there will be unfolded as walking closed to your area or a walk in the city of Rhodes a variety of tour activities you can choose. The tour packages which are offered are organized and have a schedule and a plan, so these can give you the best impressions about the island of Rhodes and aim to take action and spend another tour around the island by visiting new attractions or propose to get a boat trip and visit one of smaller islands closed to.By doing so, you will see how beautiful the island is and the amazing combination between the villages, the hills or mountains and the view of the sea.The natural beauties in Rhodes gives the impression of a miracle as if these are very closed and harmonized and the small communities like villages gives the best quality when its mixed with the culture, good food and a glass of traditional wine in each village.Rhodes has more than 28 villages and each has something different to offer you as a reward for your visit and why not stay there. My opinion is that if a village attracted with a click your eyes and got a positive emotion, you should plan and ask an arrangement from your hotel to stay one at least day in a village and come in touch with local people around and become a part of their entertainment.Dance with them, share and express your feelings about coming here and one is for sure, that they will grant you as a  gold visitor and they will never forget you.Get and share photos with them and ask about traditional or handmade products they have. You will be amazed of the massive respond and the willingness to serve you and on many occasions they will give you for free, cause you are the person who gives first by deciding to make a visit and stay one at least day,and they feel thankful for that.

I hope and believe when making a plan and visit Rhodes island what is most important is the communication with village people, the culture that is expressed with songs and habits they have when living there and the respect about the natural miracle around the island. These attributes gives a picture why Rhodes is one the best places in the world and the top 5 destinations for your memorable holidays.

And do not forget, that you all deserve the Holiday of your Dreams and Rhodes has the benefits to give you this Dream experience of having memorable vacations and make you come back again and again…….I wish to everybody great holidays wherever in the world you are and keep traveling………

Municipality of Ataviros
Embona, Kritinia, Agios Isidiros, Ataviros, Siana, Monolithos, Mandriko, Kamiros Skala
Municipality of Ataviros tel. +30 22460 70310
The highest mountain on Rhodes, the imposing Mt. Ataviros with its distinctive character, overlooks the mountain villages of the region. At times hidden in cloud, at others bathed in sunshine. Ataviros, with its green slopes and rocky summit, is an eternal symbol of the island. The view from the top is unique, more than compensating for those who make the effort to reach there.
The biggest village in the region is Embonas. Built on a mountainside covered with vineyards, this village is famous for its excellent wines and tavernas, while keeping its traditional character between the Ataviros and Akramitis mountains is Siana, a lovely village where bee-keeping is highly developed. Very close by is Monolithos, with its impressive castle. Just as impressive is the fortress at Kritinia, near the village of the same name, and said to have bee founded by the Cretans. The rocky coast of the region has small hidden and especially beautiful bays, such as Fournoi, Glyfada and the beaches of Kritinia, where you can enjoy the sea, far away from the crowds. At the small harbour of Kamiros Skala you can sample the excellent food of the many seaside tavernas.
The medieval castle of Kritinia, known as Kastelos, with the ruined church of Saint Paul, the sunset from this side of the island is quite magical.
Siana, a traditional mountain village known for its pure honey and souma, a strong liquor distilled from grapes in the traditional manner.
The Rhodian deer, the symbol of Rhodes, lives in the wooded hills of the island. It is a protected species.
The castle of Monolithos, built on the summit of a huge rock standing steep and close to the sea, was built by the Knights in the 14th century to guard the sea route and to protect the locals from pirate raids. The sunset seen from here IS magnificent. From castle a road leads to a lovely secluded beach.
Every May the people of Agios Isidoros organize a climb to the summit of Ataviros, on which stand the ruins of a temple dedicated to Zeus. From the summit the whole island is visible below.
Embona, the large village at the foot of Ataviros. The growers here produce the finest wines on the island and are famous for their gaiety and adhe¬rence to traditional ways of life. There are many festivals where you can enjoy skilful dancing and traditional costumes.
Kamiros Skala, a small picturesque harbour with fish tavernas and an ancient tomb carved into the rock. From here the small boats leave for Chalki.

14 nights in Rhodes?Be in Lindos and enjoy your vacations......

Lindos Rhodes is a picturesque village, ancient in history, located on the south east coast of the island. It is one of the most popular travel locations in Greece and the Mediterranean, because of the relaxed atmosphere, the friendly local inhabitants, and the pristine condition in which you find the town itself, and its well-kept beaches.Thousands of adventure travelers make their way to Lindos Rhodes each year seeking thrills and the many activities that are available. Whether you simply want to just relax on the beach, dive, snorkel, go on the Aegean Sea cruises, or simply explore the rich character of the old town and the Acropolis which dominates the area, it is a great location for a family holiday, or for a couple who simply want to get away from it all.

The old town itself is a maze of picturesque narrow streets with most of the small shops openly displaying wares from unique clothes and jewelry, to pottery, custom made sandals and leather goods, and regional crafts. It’s as shopaholics dream and you can spend hours browsing through the shops or taking a break in the villages many restaurants and ethnic bars.

In the evenings you can enjoy the many varied selections of cuisine available from the rooftop restaurants which offer spectacular views of the Acropolis at sunset, or participate in the lively nightlife of the village’s numerous bars and cafes. If you’re not into clubbing and the nightlife, you’ll be pleased to know that after 11pm the volume is turned down and everything closes down at respectable time. Additionally the bars and clubs into the town itself away from the majority of Lindos apartments, so if you have young children with you, you shouldn’t be disturbed.Crime is almost non-existent but of course normal precautions which should be taken because of something is stolen, look to other tourists not the locals. Not only are the local Greeks very friendly, but they have great pride in their village and watch out for other guests. If they think you need assistance they will be very quick in offering their help. Most local Greeks are fluent in several languages so you shouldn’t have a great deal of trouble in making yourself understood.

Lindos Rhodes is also a favoured place for weddings. Weddings take place frequently in the small picturesque chapel in St Pauls Bay and it’s not uncommon to see the wedding party led by an accordion player walking up from the beach into the town.

I recommend Lindos Rhodes highly as a wonderful location to relax and spend time with your family. The beaches and the weather especially are among the best in Greece.

Let’s surf in Rhodes and feel the adrenaline…….

Surfers Paradise is situated in the bay of Ixia on the island of Rhodes, in the south east part of Greece. Popularly called the island of the sun, Rhodes has 320 days of sunshine, and is a sought after destination for tourists and water sport lovers. The wind phenomenon on the island provides some perfect conditions for performing jumps and bumps and the center truly lives up to its name as the surfers paradise. In the mornings, the water is flat, but by midday, the speed picks up, and sets the stage for some radical jumps. By late afternoon, the wind is blasting and then it’s the turn of the pros and freestylers. Surfers can make use of the latest range of surfing equipments and rigs from JP-Australia and Neil Pryde , and beginners have a range of Starboard equipment to choose from. The club is also the official test center for Neil Pryde and JP, and the test team is fluent in most European languages. This comes handy when a surfer is trying to gain expertise in gybe, or if the surfers insurance company needs to know certain details ahead of a training program in forward loop. In addition to providing top coaching in windsurfing and Kite Surfing, the Surfers Paradise also offers a range of activities for the water freaks. Vacationers can have a go at canoeing, boating, or scuba diving or, perhaps try some Mountain Biking, bungee jumping, hand gliding, some exciting motor cross events or simply fool around with friends playing some beach volley ball. The non adventurous types can perhaps opt for something more sedate like a guided hike, sauna or a relaxing massage. The center opens in the first week of March and closes November end.

Want piece of mind?Visit and relax at Chalki.....

Chalki is one of the Chalki-Halki island: Chalki information - Chalki holidays - Dodecanese, Greeceislands of the Dodecanese. Chalki is just perfect for those who want to spend a vacation away from the stress of modern living. The setting is delightful; pretty houses scattered around a picturesque harbourside, fishing boats at anchor, and a backdrop of rugged mountains. With its great climate and its kind people, a trip to Chalki can be considered as a vacation haven for the "body and soul" both. Chalki's only settlement, Nimborios, lies around a beautiful, natural harbor of crystal clear water. Its tall 2 and 3-story renovated mansions make it unrivalled in beauty amongst other island towns. The town of Halki has a noble air about it that reflects its past glory and prosperity. it is well worth your while to walk through its narrow and picturesque streets. While visiting the island, take long walks and discover some of the more than 360 country chapels, the remnants of a medieval castle and Chorio, the island's ancient capital, which lies at the foot of the castle. Life on the island of Halki is simple and unhurried and you can spend happy hours just lazing under the sun and swimming just wherever you fancy. Finally, if you wish a few hours' escape from the absolute quietness of the island, the bustling island of Rhodes is nearby. Bear in mind that there are no cars or buses on the island and your only means of transport will be on foot!
